Our Programs

CFFYD provides programs and opportunities that address immediate needs while helping young people build the skills, relationships, character, and preparation needed for adulthood.

Youth Therapeutic Development Center for Boys

Front view of a two-story house with a porch, white siding, and a red front door. There are steps leading up to the porch and outdoor seating on it, with a small garden bed along the front.

The CFFYD Boys Therapeutic Development Center will provide a safe, structured, home-like residential environment for young men ages 10–18 who need stability, consistent support, education, healthy male mentorship, and a clear pathway toward adulthood. Daily life will combine education, counseling, physical development, household responsibilities, faith and character development, recreation, music, career exposure, community service, and practical life skills.

The goal is bigger than providing a place to live. We are creating an environment where young men can learn how to manage themselves, care for others, contribute to a household, make responsible decisions, and prepare for life beyond the Center.

Clothing Drive, Redefined.

Charity's Closet provides youth with clothing, hygiene products, school supplies, professional attire, and other essential items while incorporating opportunities for financial literacy, goal setting, service, and personal development.

Awarding Opportunity.

Premiere Scholarships for the Fatherless helps young people pursue opportunities that might otherwise remain out of reach. Scholarship support may assist with college, trade school, credential programs, instruments, camps, sports, transportation, and verified education-related expenses.

Honoring Those Who Served.

The Fallen Heroes Legacy Initiative serves young people who have lost a parent in combat or whose families have been significantly affected by military disability, injury, or service-related hardship. The initiative connects youth and families through mentorship, peer relationships, experiences, service, and leadership development.

State of the Fatherless Child

State of the Fatherless Child is CFFYD's research, community-listening, advocacy, and public-education initiative. Through research, listening sessions, town halls, reports, public conversations, and educational content, we work to understand the experiences of fatherless youth better and identify practical ways communities can respond.

Our approach recognizes the complexity of fatherlessness, distinguishes correlation from causation, and seeks solutions without stigmatizing young people or single-parent families.
