Meet The President & CEO

Jonathan Rogers, MBA, is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Center for Fatherless Youth Development. He brings more than 13 years of leadership experience spanning nonprofit governance, capital formation, real estate, sustainable development, and complex regulated operations. He has founded and managed operating companies, acquired and overseen tens of millions of dollars in commercial and residential real estate, and served more than 200 tenants. As Founder and Principal of Stratos Capital Partners LLC, he has also helped structure more than $500 million in capital commitments for large-scale investment and infrastructure initiatives across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

A former commissioned officer in the U.S. Coast Guard, Jonathan supported maritime law enforcement, environmental protection, national security, and disaster-response missions. His military service continues to shape his leadership through integrity, accountability, structure, and a commitment to serving others.

Jonathan holds an MBA with a concentration in Real Estate from Longwood University and a Bachelor of Science in Marine and Environmental Science from Hampton University, where he was a nationally recognized researcher. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Business Administration at Hampton University. His doctoral research examines fatherlessness in Virginia as a socioeconomic, workforce-development, and regional economic issue, not solely a social concern. His work seeks to increase awareness and encourage proactive investment in youth development, mentorship, education, family stability, and career readiness before more costly interventions become necessary.

Jonathan is a devoted husband and father, active church member, mentor, and community advocate committed to creating stronger pathways for young people, families, and communities.
